Ode to the Dwights' 5th Anniversary

Introduction

My name is Fernando Costas. In spite of my struggles, self-reflection and a lot more learning when it comes to online interactions. I decided that its time I focus on characters I fully own more and develop characters I fully have control over and focus on things I solely created. While I plan on stuff for more mature audiences (be mindful, it involves my inkblots, my take on Popeye and my OCs Bailey, Molly, Lily Croaker), I do have things for the general and casual audiences (most from Instagram lol).

Five Years and The Dwights are still at it.

This year, it will be its Fifth Anniversary. The Webcomic launched on July 4th, 2020, on a old website I had on WordPress and this was before this site's inception where it barely operates as a Blog site and more like a website showcasing my Portfolio.

We are going through time to fill in the gaps folks.

So What Now?

1. There's going to be expansions as past episodes from my Ode to the Dwights (current run) will have more panels as the episodes will be getting updates. Apparently this will be the year where I flesh the timeline of Ode to the Dwights further as more characters will be introduced, a lot more character development will be applied to Johnny, Candy, Trina, Kylie and Cassidy Dwight more.

2. There will be Episodes set before the Halloween Special as I feel like tie-in loose ends by introducing character elements and answering questions nobody asked for. My Pacing will be more focused on slowing down as I give the comics time to breath to explain what's going on.

3. There may not be anymore promo animations due to me being more focused on my personal life outside of the internet as I am getting older. That's just life mates. At the same time I've been working on a new website that is like the old website, but with more features such as character pages for each project. However If given the chance I may make an animation that is still short, but will have some ambition since it will be five years since I done anything for the Dwight family.

   
   

What Next for Ode to the Dwights?

There are things from that are best left for Mature Audiences (18+) (including the planned Fluffy and Scrappy spin-off), but if there's anything for the Dwight family, I plan to create more characters and have most of its cast exclusive to Ode to the Dwights continuity (set in 2012, a simpler time).
